    Oracle12c PSU Apply
    What is PSU?
    An Oracle PSU contains recommended bug fixes and "proactive" cumulative patches, a nice change that makes it simple for the DBA to chose to apply "priority" patches.

    In Oracle 12c you don't need to use carbundle PSU apply ,This is all done using datapatch command.

    cd $ORACLE_HOME/opatch
    ./datapatch

    To check the PSU applied to your database using the following SQL statement.
    set lines 256
    set trimout on
    set tab off
    column ACTION_TIME format a10
    column DESCRIPTION format a20
    select PATCH_ID,PATCH_UID,VERSION,FLAGS,ACTION,STATUS,ACTION_TIME,DESCRIPTION from DBA_REGISTRY_SQLPATCH;

    Oracle Support:
    Datapatch Known Issues (Doc ID 1609718.1)
    Datapatch: Database 12c Post Patch SQL Automation (Doc ID 1585822.1).

    Happy Learning
